As part of efforts to enhance pedestrian and traffic safety while navigating the Blacksburg Transit Multi-Modal Transit Facility and Hitt Hall capital construction projects, a temporary asphalt pathway and lighting will be installed near Perry Street.
Work on the pathway will mobilize on Monday, Jan. 31. It will be available for pedestrian use shortly thereafter.
The lit pathway will exist between the construction access route for the Blacksburg Transit Multi-Modal Transit Facility and the north fence line of Hitt Hall and the Cowgill lawn.
